Dear WCS Community,

Our K-12 campus provides a challenging academic program within a nurturing environment for students, where every child can feel safe, comfortable, and loved. Our teachers serve as godly role models, and desire for each student to know Jesus in a personal way and grow in their relationship with Him. As they daily share their love for Christ through the gift of instruction in the classroom, each subject area is approached from a Biblical Worldview. It is our hope that we can instill a life-long love of learning as we pour into the lives of our students.

WCS offers a challenging academic curriculum that includes math, language arts, science, history, career and technical education, physical education, art, home economics, Spanish, and computer technology. There are also many ways for students to grow and to be challenged outside of academics. We have musical/drama performances, art shows, chapel programs, and yearbook. Through fund raising and volunteer work programs we teach our children the value of serving those in the community around us.

We are a family here at WCS, and parents are a vital part of all that we do. Through the leadership of our PTF (Parent Teacher Fellowship), parent involvement is encouraged and valued. You will see parents volunteering in our school, serving food in the lunchroom, working on fundraising projects to support our classrooms, helping in community events, and working in the classrooms.

We encourage you to make an appointment to see our campus and meet our students, faculty and staff.

May God Lead Your Path,

Wilton Christian School Administration

Current Administration Team

Janet Goble - Office and Communication Administrator

as the Communication Administrator I usually answer the phone in the office. When you call, I can give you information about the school and upcoming activities. I can also setup an appointment for you to come and visit the school and meet with our Admissions Director. As the Communication Administrator, I also help teachers and parents by putting them in contact with the correct person to answer their questions.

April Lovelace - Ladies Spiritual Leader

as a member of the administration, I have been blessed with many opportunities to work with both students and staff. I meet with each individual staff member monthly to encourage them spiritually and to ensure a good working relationship between the staff and the administration, I am the dean of girls, I track student demerits, and contact parents when their student receives a demerit. I also oversee our after school extended care program.

Peter Lovelace - Men's Spiritual Leader / Assistant Pastor

I have enjoyed the role that God has given me on the Administrative Team. I also enjoy teaching Bible on both the high school and junior high levels, and teaching elementary chapel each week. As a former graduate of Wilton Christian School, God's work here is one that I am passionate about and one that is very near to my heart.

Barbara Thorbrogger - Academic Administrator

as the Academic Administrator, my duties include: acting as college and career counselor for our high school students to make sure they are ready for their future; supervising instruction for for our teachers whose students are either challenged by their current work load or who require more challenging work; directing the Independent Studies program (for parents who prefer to teach their students at home); ensuring our classes meet or exceed the University of California requirements for A-G subject articulation; acting as liaison for the school and WASC in order to maintain our accreditation status; and working with various outside agencies in the areas of grant writing, financial aid, and college matriculation.
